The integrity of God is rooted in His Word, but the integrity of creation lies in its intention rather than its words or deeds. God has revealed His intentions for humanity through His Word. Heaven and earth shall fade like a fleeting shadow but His Word endures, steadfast through all generations. Exalted above all, even above His holy name—for His name is a reflection of our experiences with Him, not His true essence.
It is therefore vital to seek understanding of God’s intentions for humanity. His Word is an open book that reveals His will. Yet, His strategies for fulfilling His desires in a man’s life are veiled, discernible only by His Spirit. But how can one truly comprehend the intentions in a man’s heart, save those with discerning and prophetic insight? For the actions of man often wander far from the path of true intention. But the intentions of God are unchanging, pure, and accessible to those who draw near with humble hearts and spiritual wisdom.
..as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9–11 NKJV
Every creature, including humanity and the devil possesses the proclivity to lie due to the first corruption. However, a spiritual man guided by the Spirit of God can discern the intent and strategies of the heart of everything created. Discernment is non-negotiable because humans are prone to acting in ways that contradict their true intentions. Unlike humanity, God cannot lie. Every word that proceeds from His mouth is true and unfailing, for His Word is the foundation of His integrity.
Who then is a Prophet of God when his words contradict the will of God? A prophet’s credibility is tied to the truth of his words been conformable to the will and word of God.
If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.
Deuteronomy 18:22 NLT
The words of man should not be trusted without discernment. Regardless of one’s past credibility, it is an error to judge the reliability of new words based solely on previous accuracy. Each word must be tested and proven true on its own merits, for even the most trustworthy individuals can falter. True discernment requires careful evaluation of each new statement, independent of past judgments.
What word have you believed? What doctrine have you embraced? What promise have you built your life upon? Has it been tested against truth, or have you accepted it in the name of God, finding comfort in its familiarity? The foundation of your belief determines your path — ensure it is not built on falsehood. Beware!
Many have falsely testified, prophesied, and acted in God’s name, bringing ridicule upon His name among the people. Indeed, do not judge, but ensure to vet everything thoroughly before accepting and acting upon it. Let God be true, and every human being a liar. Remember, Know no man after the flesh, for truth only comes through the Spirit!
